Writing and Kissing

Kissing is often like writing.  Ninety-eight percent of the time I have to pay close attention.  I have to focus completely, respond in just the right way—building tension and letting it fall—and when something feels just right do more of it.  It’s about texture and pacing along with taste and pressure, and it’s completely wonderful.

Two percent of the time I just stop thinking and something altogether different arises, and it’s closer to the divine.
