Up until very recently Apple made publishing e-books a giant pain in the ass.  And since QNY is really just a hobby for me, it was too much work to put up my books in more than one or two formats. 

The thing I like about Amazon is that you can read a Kindle book on almost anything.  From a web browser to an iPad, there’s a Kindle app for everything.  With a little conversion you can even read them on a NOOK.
